Born 1986, writer, poet, translator, critic, musician and publisher. He studied creative writing at the University of Iceland and in London. He made his debut with the novel Kvíðasnillingarnir [Masters of Anxiety] (2014), followed by another, Fyrir allra augum [In Plain Sight] (2016). His most recent book, Stríð og kliður [War and Noise] (2021), is a personal essay on nature, technology and the human imagination. He loves poetry, carries the popular poetry collection, which he uses to draw energy from, on him practically always. Quote: „Poetry is a way of reaching for some sort of ideal beauty.
