Jan Burian: Songwriter (Wandering) and Fanatic (Icelandic)

Born 1952 in Prague. Poet, novelist, publicist, songwriter, moderator. He graduated in journalism from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University. Editor of  the Melody magazine, then a cleaner, and a freelancer since 1978. In the years 1972–1985 in an author's duo with Jiří Dědeček. He collaborates with Czech Radio and Czech Television, and publishes in newspapers and magazines. Author of more than 400 songs, absolved about 5,000 performances, realized more than 25 LPs / CDs and more than 25 book publications, e.g. Kocouří pohled [Tomcats view] (2016), Polemiky, pocty, provokace [Controversies, tributes, provocations] (2018), Vichřice a bubliny [Storms and bubbles] (2019), Co jsem nezapomněl aneb Z deníku potulného písničkáře I, II [What I did not forget or From the diary of a wandering songwriter I, II] (2021, 2022) and Zpívající kniha [Singing book] (2022). Traveler, founder of the Icelandic Fanatics Club.
